On Sunday 5 June with the continuing wet weather in SYD, CZ326, the 1105 SYD to CAN took off at 1149. Arrival is expected about 41 minutes late at 1941; aircraft is A333 B-5939.

The CZ301 CAN-SYD service on Sunday 5 June diverted via DRW and finally arrived at SYD at 2338, well past both its scheduled arrival time of 1940 and the local airport curfew.

CZ3071 into SYD on Monday 6 June arrived at 0902, almost three hours later than its timetabled 0615 hours. A333 B6501 operated this flight from SZX, one of a few mainland Chinese origins that not so long ago lacked any commercial passenger air links with Australia. A number of these cities' carriers have preferred to initially operate flights to and from SYD rather than MEL, BNE, OOL, PER or elsewhere in Australia, which says something for Sydney's continuing 'pull' for overseas travellers.

CZ319, the Friday 10 June 2016, 1405 hours CAN - PER took off at 1506 and with B788 B-2725 should arrive at approximately 2254, 59 minutes late.

CZ3071, the Wednesday 15 June 1920 hours from SZX to SYD did not take off until 2148. Aircraft A333 B-6112 will therefore arrive at about 0843, 148 minutes late compared with the scheduled early morning 0615.

CZ3072, the returning flight ex SYD has been put back to a predicted 1000 departure from its timetabled 0845 hours.

UPDATE: CZ3072 was airborne at 1031 and should arrive SZX at roughly 1747, 92 minutes late.

CZ344 on Saturday 18 June is predicted to depart from MEL at 1100 rather than 1030. This is due to CZ321 being expected to arrive in MEL just before 1000 instead of its timetabled 0840 hours.

Another CAN-bound flight from Austrralia, but instead from BNE, CZ382 should depart on 18 June at 1025 instead of 0955.

UPDATE: CZ344 was airborne at 1142 and should arrive in CAN at 1925, 75 minutes late with aircraft A333 B-5939.

On Thursday 21 July, CZ3071 (1920 hours Wednesday SZX - SYD) should arrive at about 0701, 46 minutes tardy with aircraft A333 B-6500.

CZ325 (CAN - SYD) is also late, in its case by about 33 minutes with an approximate 0858 hours arrival on the cards. A333 B-5922 is the plane.

On Tuesday 2 August, Tropical Cyclone Nida has led to many flights into and out of CAN, HKG and nearby airports being cancelled. CZ is among those affected.

One example was CZ301, the 0820 hours CAN - SYD that was airborne at 0952 this morning. Arrival of A333 B-5937 should be at about 2042 this evening, 62 minutes tardy.

CZ343, the 0900 CAN - MEL was in the sky at 1041 with arrival expected at 2140, 70 minutes behind time. B-5939 is the A333.

CZ320, the 0830 hours from PER to CAN is hugely delayed on Thursday 4 August with take off having occurred at 2012 this evening. Arrival on Friday 5 August should be at about 0357 instead of 1630 earlier this afternoon. Aircraft is B788 B-2736.
