I wonder if this will stick but China Airlines looks to be selling some flights from Brisbane to Auckland again. At this point it's only 2 October to 1 November with BNE-AKL pricing starting at $393.

They don't seem to be selling anything past 1 November until 3 January 2023. I can't see any award space at this point but regardless with the daylight robbery of Air New Zealand right now if they do operate this will be welcome competition.

Interesting. Looking forward to seeing whether this actually operates, but it will be good news when this does return!

As a newly minted Delta Gold medallion flyer this is certainly welcome news although I should point out that accrual on China Airlines is not nearly as good as on LATAM, the latter of which earns a minimum of 100% MQM on economy fares and as much as 200% MQM on full-fare J. That being said, should there be a fare sale on PY or J in CI then certainly could be worthwhile pursuing.
