Read on a FB group I'm a member of.....Chile is no longer requiring Aussie passport holders to get a visa for visits of up to 90 days effective immediately!

I'm really pleased with this news. Going to Antarctica in Feb and specifically avoided a boat that starts / ends in Chile to avoid the Visa stress / issues.

Flying to Eze via Scl and transit time is less than 8 hours to avoid needing a visa. Was a bit worried that if we misconnect at Scl, we will be stuck airside for as long as it takes to find another flight. Now that concern has vanished!

I was getting quite worried about the visa process!! If this is true, it will be a huge relief! Have booked Antarctica cruise for December and couldn’t get the Chile e-visa page to work for me!
