Hi

I am travelling from Orlando to JFK I will have 8 hours in NYC before getting on my next flight to LHR. I plan on checking my luggage all the way through to LHR before heading into NYC to shop. My questions is will I be able to check in additional luggage (within my allowance) 6 hours later? If this isn't possible I am thinking that i would have to check my luggage from Orlando to JFK, pick up and place in storage at the airport?

I'll be flying AA then onto BA

Thanks in advance for any insight on this

Checking in additional luggage shouldn't be an issue as long as you are within your luggage allowance. They may reprint the luggage receipt to reflect the additional IDs.
