We are traveling to Bundaberg from Canberra on the weekend and hiring a car to drive around Queensland for two weeks.
We are planning to take our own car seat for our Toddler and will be checking it in at the airport. But I'm wondering how to go about this? We don't have a bag for it, or a box! Will they have some sort of large bag to put it in?
I've seen them do this before at Sydney airport but it was a long time ago and i'm just not sure if this is still done or if it is available at Canberra airport.

I asked my friend in CBR and his experience was:
"You just give it to the check in people and they will take it to the oversized luggage area for you no problem. As far i know it doesn't go in a bag or anything."
