Cheapest Place to purchase iPad - HKG, USA oe Aust on way out

Hi Guys,

Just wondering where those in the know have found the best (i.e. cheapest) pricing for iPads when moving through HGK and the US. Or is it cheaper to buy in Australia and claim the GST on the way out?

I found the Walmart unlocked (not locked to AT & T) very cheap a few months ago. Not sure of prices in HKG at the moment, but Big W here has the iPad 2 for $390 which is actually cheaper than the Walmart price at the moment.

Just based on Apple Shop prices, when I bought mine last year USA was $100 cheaper than AU, and HKG was about $50 cheaper again. That was before considering any bargaining, discounts or tax differences. AU price was inc of GST, which could be claimed back through TRS. USA price would need to add state sales tax if applicable. HKG price was all included.
