Hi
Looking to do a trip to London next year (dates are flexible but has to be before end Aug 2018 as thats when my QFF Platinum status ends).
Ideally needs to be on a Oneworld carrier (except Malaysia Airlines) to benefit from Platinum status.
What would be the cheapest fares in business class I could search for and where to search?
Thanks

I suspect Sri Lankan Airlines (MEL-CMB-LHR) would probably be one of the cheaper options? A Qantas/Finnair combination is also usually pretty good value. Cathay Pacific and Qatar Airways out of ADL are also worth checking.

Agree that ITA Matrix search is a very good place to start looking.

It will be cheaper for you if you book separate return J tickets from Australia-Asia and Asia-London.

I too think UL would be a good option. Their J product does have flat bed but its otherwise a little lacking in true J class experience as compared with Cathay. Book through UL website but use Q FF numbers. We booked SL - Adelaide on UL website in J which took us Colombo - HK in UL then direct HK - ADL in Cathay which for the price was great value.

Sorry... will need some "decoding" on this one.

UL ?
SL ?

Also you mentioned the price was good value - what roughly was the price?

Sorry.. UL is the code name for Sri Lankan air. We paid $2500 for 2 in J Colombo - HK - Adelaide. Secured 180 from memory, status credits to Qantas. We picked up award seats Heathrow through to Colombo on SL in J.
