What kind of status points do some of the cheaper LAX to vegas earn?

It would be a zone one flight, so in first you would get 40 status credits.

  80: 1501-3000 miles

AUS/SFO (1504mi) is close to the best value at 80 SC's for USD399.

I've got a few trips booked on DL & VX in F & Y. I haven't flown VX before so it will be interesting to compare the two airlines & classes.

I have done 8 F flights with VX including 4 x Trans Continentals. All have been great bar one in which a C grade celebrity sitting in row 1 had too much to drink during the flight and proceeded to vomit everywhere including all over my wife's bags. Staff on board were great.... Staff on the ground not so much.
