Cheap(er) Chocolate

Nothing's cheap at an airport, but I thought I'd put a plug in for Kiwi Discovery at AKL Int.

They have the Whittaker's chocolate range at $6.80 per 250g block as opposed to Whitcoulls' $9.90 and another store's $8.80. If you have the craving, they'll even give you six for the price of five!

I commented on the price and the guy in the shop said that they try to be the best price on as many items as they can, while acknowledging his price was quite a bit higher than non-airport shops.

I can definetely see 6 blocks of Kiwi flavoured Whittaker's in my carry-on next time through AKL!

It was the darker varieties for me, with one White Chocolate and Macadamia to break the pattern.

Thanks for the heads up - will take advantage when transiting AKL on the way to LAX with the tribe next month - may help shut the kids up!
