Have a tour to do in Canada Aug - Sept 2010. Air Pacific have flights BNE - Lax for $1150. Should I grab one now or wait till later in the New Year and some others could come up with a good price? ( I get QFF also) Your thoughts Thanks.

Would you consider flying VAustralia or Delta also? Cause I would wait until they release their sale fares for that period, should be able to get them for around that price or cheaper.

I guess the quality of the product is something that it would be worth to wait on.

$1150 return looks like a 'bird in the hand'.

At that rate, I'd take AP for cash, get qff points, and leave my Velocity points for a rainy day.

just purchased ticket with Air Pacific $1145 ex sydney to LAX in april.good price.just have a 3 hour lay over in fiji.

There's another interesting option with Air Pacific.

Book a ticket to NAN return (~$600 in Econ / ~$1200 in Business), then book a Business return from NAN-LAX (~$A2000).

Cheap J to the U.S, or a cheap mixed class flight.

Can't comment on their seats etc in J long-haul, but perhaps something to investigate.
