Hi

Does anyone know if it is possible to have your QC membership recognised by Air NZ and or converted to a Koru club membership.

After having recently moved to Auckland I have found Air NZ to have much better service than their competitor (airconnect) for Qantas.

Also ANZ flys direct to cities that I am unable to get flights on with Qantas.

Welcome to AFF Adam, but Qantas v Air New Zealand and One World v Star Alliance, it looks like its a new Koru membership for you.

Having said that, it certainly doesn't hurt to ask.

only if you're not averse to a nice old helping of rejection...ha!

Perhaps if that works I can get David Jones to let me use my $100 Myer voucher at DJ's!

Even though I suggest it will be a new membership application to the Koru Club, in 1994 when I was Life Member of the Golden Wings I went across to the Qantas Club and they offered me a substantial discount off life membership saying that if I was a member of Ansett, QF wanted my business and was prepared to offer membership at a considerable discount. So, this might also apply to you if you ask.

Also maybe a status match with another *A member might be an option?

That's not what I said or even suggested :!:

Don't distort the intent of the post

... Oh and some food chains do accept vouchers belonging to their opposition.

This works for hotel chains and so 'may' work for airlines to some degree or other. If you don't ask you'll never know.
