Changing date on points upgraded flight

Could someone please help with the following questions regarding changing date on a flexi fare upgraded to J with points.
I know I can change the date, time and/or names and pay any difference in cost. How is the cost calculated? I bought flexis as 2-4-1

1. Original flexi fare $303 new flexi $403 upgraded 7450 points - pay $100 as flexi bought 2-4-1
2. pay $200 as both flexi tickets have changed
3. pay $6 each as upgraded tickets are now effectively $1405 instead of $1399 value

or if I ask for a credit at what value is it calculated?
4. $151.50 plus 7450 points (half value of 2-4-1 $303)
5. $1399 value of upgraded ticket

Just trying to work out the best way to change the ticket date. Thx

If you make any changes or cancellations to your flight after you have redeemed an Upgrade Using Points, the Points deducted from your Velocity Frequent Flyer Membership Account will be forfeited.
