I have a Classic award booked and wanted to upgrade it to a MASA (business of course). Is there anyway that this can be done?

You can cancel and hope the seat returns to the inventory, with a fee.

Thanks Mark,

The current booking is actually in Y so the availability is there is J already. Would it use the same PNR? I ahve a DSC offer that I wanted to take advantage of.

Go for it as its classed as a new booking, the old one being cancelled and points refunded et, just make sure you ask them to cancel first then process the MASA once that is done.

Maybe I would do this differently, I would book the MASA first, and once confirmed, I would then cancel the classic award, that way you avoid the possibility of losing a seat on the flight that you want.

You could only do that is there were seats still available in the U fare bucket.
