Changing a classic award booking

I have 2 first class, Qantas classic award seats from SYD to LHR on Dec 29th this year. We are actually flying from Adelaide to Paris and as we booked as early as possible the flights from Adelaide to Sydney and London to Paris were not available. Can anyone tell me the cost in points and dollars to change the booking.The Adelaide to Sydney flight is available but not the London to Paris leg. Is it better to wait and change both at the same time or doesn't it matter?

Its 3500 points per person per change.
