"Skytrax"? Meh ... says it all really.

FWIW, Singapore is fine as an airport.

However, do a search on "skytrax" in this forum and you see some amazing results. Aside from '1st' place, it's too varied and not reflecting reality to any consistent extent.

FWIW, Skytrax has basically rotated between HGK and SIN for the last 10 years with ICN throwing a spanner in the works last year:

Not a lot in it when comparing HKG, SIN and ICN in my view...

(PLEASE send the Boss from SYD to ANY of those and say "Do it like THIS!")

But I quite like BKK too.... (hey, YMMV!) I think of it as the giant Meccano set! Reckon the TG lounges are OK too.....

Last 48 hours I've been in SIN then BKK... now SIN again... heading off to HKG then ICN later today... (then SFO and MEX...:mrgreen

A first for me here in SIN... instead of the SKL or SATS Premier I'm in the Skyview Lounge as I am outta here on CX...Geez... If you like windows THIS is the lounge for you! Not so much to my taste... I have to choose between reading with my glasses on... or my sunnies.... either way I'll end up with a headache!

Be worth it though.... when I get to HKG I can use the Wing or Pier....

I wonder how much ones view of an airport changes when the Lounges are in the picture?

Alot IMHO!And there's the rub, i will vary a transit for an airport with a preferred lounge if it's for little or no cost.

I'm sure many of the "skytrax" voters do not takr lounges into cosideration.
