G'day,

Will be arriving at Changi International at midnight and have a 9hr transit at the airport. Just wondering if there is a transit hotel at Changi at all that people have stayed at?

Thank you.

There are three located inside the terminal. But they can be very expensive. Just google Singapore airport transit hotel and the options come up… aerotel and ambassador.

Options off site are likely going to be much cheaper, even with a taxi/grab to the hotel.

With 9 hours you’d have a good 5-6 hours at an off site hotel.

Agree with MEL_traveller. When they first opened the transit hotels were cheap - these days not so and often sold out.
The landside Crowne Plaza can also get pricey.

We have an 6-7 hour transit in 3 nights and we will be staying in one of the SQ lounges. There's no way I'm spending $300 for a few hours sleep.

We have 2 more overnight transits in March and April next year and will do the same.

For context I paid around $400 for 9 nights without breakfast in Pattaya next week and I think thats too expensive.

Nor will I, I think :)

Can you buy entry to SQ lounges? I am not a Kris Flyer member...

There are pay-per-use lounges. One of them has a ‘nap suite’ that’s $120 for 6 hours. I booked that the other week but they upgraded me to the hotel for 6 hours instead so I don’t know what it’s like!
