Hi All,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I have a few flights booked on SQ in suites coming up later this year. I will be departing Singapore in suites to NYC whilst my girlfriend will be flying to SYD in business a few hours before me.

Any thoughts on whether the SQ staff will turn my gf away if she is not flying suites? We will obviously arrive together and head to the lounge together after so just wondering if they would check us both in?

Thanks in advance for your help.

No problems, you'll be able to check in together. You won't however be able to both visit the Private Room lounge, that's restricted to SQ F passengers only (no guests). You can however both enjoy the SQ First class lounge.

Should be no issues doing check in together.
But even if you did get denied, you can easily access the main terminal from a door in the back corner of the first check in area. So no downside to giving it a go.

Thanks for the insight, glad it shouldn't be a problem.

I was aware of the rules of the private room but her flight leaves 3 hrs before mine so should have a little time to myself to explore it!
