If you need to make changes to PR booing, please do check that you are no being gouged. Call the Manila number where possible.
I had an interesting experience today to change an existing domestic PR booking to a different travel date.
Upon calling the Australia 1300 737 725 number I was answered in the Philippines call centre. For changing my flight to the new date which I could view on the website was a $125 fare I was quoted a total change fee of AUD188. hmm, the agent advised that since I was calling on the AU number I would be charged the 'international' fees and charges including credit card levy. The agent advised I could call on the +63 number and obtain pricing in Peso.
Upon calling the +63 2855 8888 I was given the change fee of P2870 in total which is about AUD77.
It seems the PR has done some reorganising of their numbers. The previous local number 1300 888 725 which in my experience was handled through Melbourne was no longer connecting for me.
Buyer beware.
