Change to QF international route

QF128 HKG-SYD on 19 July has been downgraded from 3 class to 2 class.
There goes my upgrade, but still not surprising as of last week F8 was on expertflyer. So basically empty F.

QF128 HKG-SYD on 19 July has been downgraded from 3 class to 2 class.

And also on 21 June.

Was wondering how I was allocated a row 31 seat when I am only travelling Y, although the C seat was a bit of a giveaway

Not that I'm in a hurry to fly in one anyway (I'd prefer them to clock up a few million operational hours before I'd be happy the venture onto one).

Qantas has been moving QF128 to a 2 class config quite a bit recently.

I've always wondering how QF compensate for this... with so many different F fares out there, and with FF points...??
