Looking at CNS/SYD/LAX/BNE/CNS as JASA, its 3 weeks apart prefer 2 or thereabouts, if I book it now and see a better date later can I just call up and have QFF change it?.

Also the CNS/SYD leg is a 6am departure can I call QFF and see if they would allow later flight but day before?.

Would they charge me for any of above?.

Depends on the actual fare rules and availability of the seat fare bucket you are booking into on a later flight. There have been mixed reports where some had no issues changing while others were told no!

Also do i need to start in CNS as the JASA is CNS/SYD/LAX/BNE/CNS), could I buy separate ticket CNS/SYD the day before and then do the SYD/USA?.

Again you would need to check the fare rules but a no show on the first leg is never advisable!

Had a pleasant experience last night changing our JASA's, was going CNS/BNE/LAX/AKL as better flights showed up to get back from AKL (notified by expert flyer for dates we wanted), so called QFF and it was right on the money, its now CNS/BNE/LAX/AKL/BNE/CNS, cost just a tad over $300 more for both of us for 2 extra J flights! (AKL/BNE/CNS), guy at QFF (Lee) was very helpful and efficient, we are as happy as.
