Have international flights booked as QFF award like to change, is it 3500 QFF points per pax or per booking?, also is it possible to pay in $ rather than QFF points?

If you use the service centre its 8000 points service fee on top of the 3500, both per person, online its simply 3500 per person. You can use cash for the service centre fee but not the FF change fee, obviously this needs to be done via the service centre. Thats for non trans tasman internationals for clarification:

For Domestic AU / NZ: 4,000 Points per passenger
For Trans Tasman: 4,000 Points per passenger
For International: 8,000 Points per passenger

Thanks for the info.
Never changed flight dates before.
So if I call the premium desk its going to cost 22K QFF points to change two pax Int. flights surely not.

Yes it will cost 23K as per the fees schedule.

Makes sense given the ridiculous price they apply to make the simplest of changes to el-cheapo cash tickets.

I looked everywhere in my QFF account with booking No. did not see where to change it.

There should be a change button in MMB next to OLCI and seat selection buttons, might be worth ringing the call centre and asking for a waiver if there is not?

Sorry to dig up an old thread - but didn't want to start a new one when there was a partial answer already.

If I book an award flight in J SYD-LAX, can I freely change the date of the flight (subject to paying the change fee)? Does there need to be award seat availability to do so, or just simply space in the J cabin at the time of changing? Is there any time restriction (e.g. you can only move forwards/backwards within a [30] day window)?

Thanks for your help.

My understanding is that there will have to be award seat availability to change flights. Generally, the window is no more than 12 months from originally ticketing date (not travel date).
