I assume it's a historical link which no longer has data. Were you perchance googling for "Chairman's Lounge"?

Thats where i found it. You would assume that it works for anyone who is logged into their CL ff account on qantas.com...

Wouldn't you get a 404 error if that was the case?

Depends on the website and how the webpage is constructed.

From memory, the SYD and MEL lounges were refurbished around 12 months ago to have decor similar to the SYD/MEL F lounges...

If you use the "Internet Archive Wayback Machine" at Archive.org you'll find a snapshot on the 21st of November 2009 with content for that page, I would post a direct link but I don't have 10 posts yet.

Qantas Chairmans Lounge Redevelopment

The Qantas Chairmans Lounge in Sydney's domestic Terminal 3 is undergoing an extensive redevelopment from April 2008 to provide you with enhanced comfort and space.
The exclusive new lounge, designed by Marc Newson, will provide a spacious environment incorporating many signature aspects of the International First Lounge experience.

Australian-born designer Marc Newson shares a close bond with Qantas in his role as Creative Director. Marc has designed the Qantas International Business Skybed seat, the acclaimed International First Lounges in Sydney and Melbourne, and the soon-to-be introduced A380 cabin interiors. Marc's vision for the Chairmans Lounge was to create a space that is functional, relaxing and pleasing to the senses.

  • More room and greater seating capacity of 140 seats
  • Relaxation areas
  • A library area
Be entertained with five televisions offered throughout the lounge as well as Sony PSP and PlayStation units plus newspapers and magazines available.

Enjoy food and beverage from the enhanced self-serve buffet including Rockpool influenced fresh hot food options for meal services, along with a complete bar.
Experience the new Chairmans Lounge from late 2008 when stage 1 of the redevelopment will be complete. The second and final stage of the redevelopment is scheduled for completion by early 2009.
You can continue to enjoy the Chairmans Lounge with little disruption while the redevelopment takes place.
