Hi team

I’m booked on QF255 SYD-CDG, landing in Terminal 3 at 6am on 28 May. I’m adding a Europe status run on to hit Platinum (Iberia Business CDG-MAD-BCN) but the flight doesn’t leave until 12.45pm.

Originally I wasn’t worried because of course a Terminal that has Qantas and Iberia has a lounge, right? No! Turns out it’s an ultra low cost carrier terminal with almost nothing in it.

So a few questions:

1. Has anyone successfully changed terminals for sole purpose of lounge access and if so, what was the best way? I’ve been reading online that some lounges may turn you away for not departing that terminal.

2. Has anyone successfully booked a day use room at Citizen M CDG? It’s connected via walkway to Terminal 3. Ibis is close too. Tips on cheapest way to book? Dayuse website or direct with hotel?

3. Any suggestions? I’m so cranky at myself for not checking this before booking flights from Terminal 3!!

Thank you so much for any guidance.
