Random question, flying into SYD on CX in business, is there any arrival lounge facilities ? Thanks.

The Plaza Premium arrivals lounge is the only arrivals lounge at Sydney. Since the review below was written, Plaza Premium has re-entered the Priority Pass programme so I'd assume (but I don't know for sure) that a Priority Pass account will also get you access?

its crazy, feels like we have low expectations here, considering the amount of flights coming into AU that are 10 hours or more in length.

I guess a lot of people coming off long flights will be connecting to a domestic flight. So you'd have lounge access while waiting for your connection.

I’d say the majority of PAX arriving in SYD aren’t connecting. Other than locals, there’s a lot of peeps arriving in that 6am to 9am peak hoping for an early checkin.

Even in CX's home, Hong Kong, have low expectations.

I think their arrivals lounge in HKG is still closed. It was never great. I've used it a few times.

Arrivals lounges aren't really a big thing. There's not too many around. I've used them in HKG, DOH and LHR (and others I've forgotten).

All have been pretty underwhelming but I suppose it's a shower, a sit down, a cup of coffee and some poor breakfastly type food (most have only been open in the AM).
