Hi,
Long time reader, first time poster here.
I'm looking to buy a ticket from Melbourne to Shanghai (via Hong Kong) late December and coming back mid-January. It looks like the China Trader ticket from CX is the cheapest.
On Cathay's website it says
Stopovers
Permitted in Hong Kong in each direction.
Transfers
Permitted in Hong Kong in each direction.
But the website doesn't seem to give an option of a stopover in Hong Kong with the China Trader fare.
Am I doing anything wrong? Does anyone have any experience with the China Trader fare? I tried to call Cathay Pacific (131 747) today but I gave up after being put on hold for 45 minutes.
Thanks,
Alan
