Hi,
I'm sure this has been asked before, but I can't find it so apologies in advance. I'm looking to take advantage of the cheap Qatar return airfares to Helsinki, and then add on (Finnair) reward flights using Qantas points to get to another European destination. As an alternative, I could also pay cash for the Finnair flights - but can't buy the Finnair ticket on the Qatar website, or the Qatar ticket on the Finnair one as, unlike the European leg, there are no codeshares.
I understand that if these are booked on two separate tickets, I am not covered in the event I miss the connection in Helsinki due to delays (on either departing or returning leg). Is that correct?
If it is correct, is there a way of booking these flights on the same ticket?
