    Just noticed that Amex has a Card Alerts section in the internet banking.

    It allows for Amex to send you an email or sms whenever you are reaching your credit limit (or $xxx of your credit limit), when payments have been recognised, and weekly balance updates.

    Checked the faqs. Apparently doesn't cost you anything... sounds like fun. I've scheduled my balance sms to pop in on a Friday night so i behave myself during the weekend :)

    I guess that would be useful when I'm on long holidays. It's not necessary at any other time.
