Recently I was in Cape Town
Fortunately I had my friend do the airport pickup …
Unfortunately 2 of the people working on the cruise had a bad experience of overcharging for taxis from Cape Town airport
The male went to the police who tracked down the culprit and forced the reversal of the transaction
The lady rang her American bank who cancelled the card - makes for inconvenience of course and cancelled the transaction
A debit card with $45 on it probably would have avoided the overcharging
