Hi forumites

I have a booking made for work, flying BNE-Canberra, which was made by admin, in Y-class.

When I log into my QFF account, I added the booking to my account, and now when I view the booking and click the "upgrade" link, it shows the flights as requiring 5000 points to upgrade, but says to contact travel agent, rather than having the upgrade button.

Any ideas what to do? If I call Qantas, will they charge me a phone fee/points fee?

Thanks

As Dave says ring them up. I had the same problem today, but mine was due to it being a RTW trip that has to be a paper ticket. However when I rang there was no availability at that time and I "have been put on the waitlist". There was no charge and they were really helpful.

Sometimes the "Contact travel agent" message is because, while the tickets are booked, payment for the tickets haven't been applied yet.

If payment has been made, one should be able to upgrade after a short delay.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
