Hi everyone,

Just trying to clarify how child seats are treated on Fiji Airways, as I can't get a clear answer from the airline.

I'm on QF flight number, Fiji metal...and 2 kids and hubby are on FJ flight numbers (I used points for their tickets). Kids are 3 and 5. I'm QFF gold.

Trying to figure out if we can bring 2 child car seats free of charge, or if they count towards checked luggage? Every other airline we've traveled have taken the car seats as extras free of charge, but I can't figure out if this is the case on FJ.

If we do have to count it, from what I can see I have 30kgs allowance as I'm on a QF #, so I guess I can just pack light and add them to my allowance.

Also trying to figure out if I can take them with me into the lounge...seems because technically they are on a different flight number to me, I can't have them as guests! Depends I guess how closely they look at the flight numbers??
