Have tried classic and any seat, and both Australia and Vanuatu Qantas sites, but Port Vila just doesn't show up in the list.

Trying to do a Y classic award outbound SYD - VLI, and any seat return VLI - SYD in J, but cant make it happen.

Any suggestions?

I think you have to ring up to do it. I did this last year in Y and recall ringing QF to do it.

Let me know how you get on with this. I tried booking a flight that didn't appear on the list and they wanted the $60 fee. Apparently you can keep ringing back and trying for a different representative, but I would be surprised if they say any different.

I live here (VLI) and have always had to ring in to get award flights out of here booked.

Yes you do have to call and you will be charged the booking fee.

I was trying to split the booking into 2 and get a JASA on the VLI - SYD return leg to get some points and SC's.

The whole exercise was getting very complicated as it involved cancelling an existing JASA booked out of Suva, and using those points to buy a new award. In the end I booked a classic award SYD - VLI - SYD with the return leg in J.

The service from the QF Platinum desk in dealing with this was superb - they are holding the classic award for me until Suva processes the refund of points and money.
