Cancelling or modifying a Hilton reward booking

May need to alter or worse case cancel a Hilton honors reward booking in Honolulu being a booking paid for with reward points not cash, does anyone know if you get the points back or are they lost?...

Generally HHonors are awards are fully cancellable, especially if done more than a day before the booking.

However, some are not, so always check the cancel conditions.

Generally the points arrive back in your account within 30 minutes of cancelling online.

Always keep a record of the cancellation number and the cancellation email until well after the original booking date - just in case.
