Cancel Amex card - comp flight still available?

Wondering if I cancel my Amex card, will my complimentary flight still be available to book? I really don’t need to book my flight right now and I also don’t want to renew my card which is due next week. Thanks in advance.

If you cancel it no, but you should be able to book the flight and then cancel the card without issues.
