Canberra Hotels - business centre options for remote working

I may need to visit Canberra for a week and need to work remotely from the hotel. While I don't mind working from the hotel room I'm hoping some of the hotels there might have some additional space to work quietly.
The Mercure Canberra and the Peppers Gallery mention a business centre. Does anyone have experience of the business centre in the hotels there? Were there any business centres in the Sebel or Novatel which are better options for points?
Thanks in advance!

While not a direct answer to your question, would a library be a suitable option? The National Library of Australia has free wifi and lovely quiet spaces in the reading rooms. Only down side is that you can't take calls in the reading room if you needed to dial in to a meeting or something.

Mercure is rubbish - I wouldn't even consider it. The rooms are tatty, wifi slow, and it's quite inconveniently located.

Sebel has a single computer on one side of the lobby with a printer. Staff were also happy to print docs for me via email at no charge. All rooms have a reasonable dining table & chair, the exec rooms also have a very decent working desk.

Novotel has some good seating options in/around the bar area on L2, including seating facing the windows overlooking Northbourne. Would be a decent spot to sit for the day and I don't imagine it would be particularly busy. Desks in rooms were quite decent.

Mantra MacArthur is a good option too. The rooms have a decent desk facing the window, and there's quite a bit of seating down in the restaurant area where you could sit during the day.

Sebel is my pick of the lot for business trips, the rooms are very modern and have a decent kitchen for a longer stay.

Pics of all properties in the elites thread.

Thanks for the feedback. Both the Sebel and Novotel are reasonably close to Canberra civic so a library was going to be my back up option. Especially as I'll be reliant on car share, taxis.
Sounds like a toss up between both. Novotel also had a pool and gym which helps for relaxing in the evenings.
Thanks, Sudoer for the honest feedback on the Mercure Canberra.
FWIW, I did a week last year as a digital nomad at the Mercure Belconnen. It was newly opened with modern rooms and in a quiet area. Parking was included which helped. Unfortunately the restaurant was in the local club which doesn't help maximise Accor plus discounts.
Thanks again!

I usually stay at the Mercure Belconnen for work and really like it but yes as you said being attached to the Labour club there is no scope to use your Accor Plus dining discounts

Then it's worth noting that OPL Cafe (connected to Sebel) is an Accor Plus dining exclusion! They do an excellent a la carte breakfast for Plats/Diamonds though.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Thanks all for the contributions! Booked the Novotel in the end. It had more room options available for a possible upgrade and the pool/gym for a bit of exercise in the evenings.
May try out co-working spaces for a bit of variety. Cheers!
