For an upcoming Canberra trip I have had a member rate room booking which allowed me a cancellation if plans changed. The rate is $250/night to which I could add $35 for breakfasts.

Now that everything is confirmed I thought I might as well just pay upfront and switch to a Member rate advance purchase at $236/night.

Anyone know if I will still see the breakfast upgrade option when I have the advance purchase rate?

Luxury Escapes has a 2n deal if that is of interest. It is $449 incl the brekky. If it is yr first ever LE 'deal' there is a $50 off referral that I / others could give you to bring it down to $399. But, it is mostly on the weekend, not business nights. Five-Star City Break in Iconic Hyatt Luxury, Canberra, ACT

Also, look at a Prive Rate - for the same as BAR, you can get things like upgrade on booking, spendable credit, breakfast.

But you do need a TA.
