Does anyone know if Emirates allows one-way Saver Classic Reward bookings when redeeming Skywards miles for an EK flight in economy or business class?
I can't see any specific reference to this in the Skywards T&Cs, the mileage calculator seems to indicate that this is possible, and there is no obvious mention of this when you search for Emirates Classic Reward availability on their website. In fact, if you search for one-way awards, it shows options in both the Saver and Flex Plus categories.
However, the wording "One-way rewards available on Flex Plus fares" on this page is strangely specific:

I also note the following answers buried within the Skywards FAQs page:
Surely if one-way Saver rewards were not possible though, this would be made clear when you search for availability online and they wouldn't be displayed if you searched for a one-way award? The website certainly gives you the impression that you can book one-way Saver rewards, so if this isn't the case the Emirates website seems rather misleading.
I don't have enough Skywards miles though in my account to see what happens if you try to book a one-way Saver award, so does anyone know?

Can I book a one-way flight reward?
Yes. However, you will need to book a Flex Plus fare. You can book a one‑way Flex Plus reward fare in every class, as long as you fly from one flight zone to another. They’re not valid for travel within a single zone. You can add one stopover on your journey, but your journey must take place in one continuous direction. You can purchase a one‑way Flex Plus reward for 50% of the Miles needed for a return Flex Plus reward between the same airports.

Why can't I buy a one-way Saver reward with my Miles?
Our Saver rewards are specially discounted tickets with certain restrictions, such as maximum stay, which means that these fares can only be offered on a return basis.
