Hi all, are we still able to phone up and book a JASA for travel before July 1st, and receive status credits + points for the trip?

Thanks

Yes, and you can book a JASA before July 1st for travel after July 1st and still earn points and SCs, but just at the new rates.

alright thanks. So I guess the award is removed completely on/after July 1?

Correct, it will not be possible to book a JASA (or any xASA) after July 1st.

In theory, you could book out as far as 353 days after July 1.

Yes JASA can be booked for travel before and after July 1 and will be eligible for status credits/ff points. The only thing is that travel after Jul 1 will be at the recently published rates effective Jul 1. As of Jul 1 Qantas is cancelling marginal Any Seat Awards all together so you are at D-84 for bookings. Recommend the mASA in F or J as a really good choice for burning points. All the best!
