Can I use a personal Amex platinum for business?

Is this with an additional card/cardholder to separate the expenses? Is there roughly how much it can take without financial review?

It’s a little underwhelming compared to urban legend. It will support your spend to $A250k based on usual charge card usage like always.

Above that, you need to submit your financials for a credit assessment. I’m told this only lasts for 12 months before you have to do it again. I’m thinking an ‘evergreen’ credit card limit would be better unless if course you can get a significantly higher limit via the Charge card. I didn’t think this was sufficiently attractive for me to bother with this process.

keen to see what you have went with for the Amex, if you eventually got both and if it is worth it to you - looks like you have large expenses to make it worthwhile for sure!

Ended up going with both for now, got a subsidised business card which they're happy to do while I continue to hold personal.
Have racked up 2m points in a matter of months, so far seems to be marginally worthwhile...

Perhaps Amex sees more risk lending to individuals in contrast to providing facility to businesses

I’ve had platinum personal for under a year. My partner runs a business and started putting through business expenses on her additional plat card. My plat card was all personal spend.
Got to about 25k pers, 20k business.
Received a review on a Friday night (bit of a wank move), and spending limit dropped to $26,300.
Sent in personal income details, limit removed.
Then 2 weeks later, they suspended my partners card altogether and locked both of us out of Apple Pay (again, late on a Friday night).
Paid all monthly statements on time and in full.

Also follow centurion eligibility thread, and am questioning what cards they were using to put through such large business expenses, not get reviewed, and then receive invitations to centurion personal card.
