My aunt is traveling with me in August and she flies home earlier, does anyone know if it is possible for me to upgrade her return flight to Australia using AA points for her CX flight?

Cheers,
Kerry

You cannot use AA points to upgrade a CX flight.

Bugger. How about using Asia miles? Though I don't think 32k points is going to get very far...

I would like to add as well that you have to be careful which fare class you are booked in when you can upgrade with AA miles, such as flights booked with BA, not all fare types can be upgraded with AA miles.
