Can I fly without an eTicket?

I had an eTicket for a flight I am doing on the 23rd of this month. But then I made a change and was told that I'd be charged $212 for the change. I was good, so they made the change. This was 2 weeks ago.

Since then - no charge on my credit card, nor was there a hold.

Logged into Qantas site, manage booking, and I see the new flight details all confirmed. But if I hover over 'Change', it says "Processing'.

I have received no updated eTicket. And my booking disappeared from my mobile app. According to the mobile app, I have no trips planned. But the website says it's all confirmed (But 'Processing').

If the departure date arrives, will I be able to travel? I have a booking reference and 'Confirmed' flights on the site. But ... not paid the difference and my printed eTicket has my old flights.

Any advise or experience would be great!

Even if you arrive at the airport with a confirmed reservation, if it hasn't been ticketed you won't be able to fly until it has been fixed. To make matters worse, since Qantas removed airport service desks there is no-one at the airport who can assist with this — you'll be directed to call their call centre. If you can't get through in time, you will miss your flight.

Best to try and solve it beforehand. Unfortunately you'll need to call Qantas to fix.

Have a read of this thread: Qantas Call Centre Long Wait Times
There are some different numbers shared there that should get you through a bit faster, particularly at the end of the thread.
