Can I earn SC's when I fly on BA

It will depend on you class of fare. Check the Points earning table - if the class in which you're booked on BA does not earn points, then you won't earn SCs. The number of SCs again depends on your class.

I think you must mean status bonus ceased as SCs are still earned on all valid booking classes

No, travel on discount economy BA flights of up to 600 miles that earn points will earn 10SC's.

Eligible 601-1200 mile segments will earn 15 SC's.

Received 80 SC DOHxLHR/LIN in Y last week and credited to my QFFF within 24hrs, well 48hrs for the DOH/LHR leg which has a fun stop over in BAH and felt like taxiing to take off in DOH longer than flight to BAH.

Flew SYD-SIN-LHR-CPH and return with BA last month, SCs were fine, points were rubbish - think I make more points with just SYD-SIN with Qantas - no big deal though.
