Can I do this on JQ7 to Singapore or no?

Hi All,
I have some first class lounges to use in MEL.
I was wondering if anyone has flown this route recently and if you’re able to check in online if you don’t have checked luggage and able to go straight to gate?
Would love to get to lounge earlier if possible to enjoy it more and settle in.

Yes, I checked-in online (hand luggage only) for JQ7 in September and went straight through to the QF F lounge. JQ7 is a bit of a lottery though. Recent performance seems better, but late last year there were lots of cancellations

Okay great as Ive heard for some flights they need to check documentation and forms at desk and you don’t get a check in text

I was booked on the JQ7 two weeks ago, connecting in SIN to HEL. Same booking, but online check-in was unavailable.

Check your manage booking on jetstar… it indicated fairly early on that we’d need to go to the airport for check-in (which is only 3 hours prior).

Okay fair enough. Did you have checked luggage? As I would assume you’d need to check in at airport with this

The app didnt know that. Baggage allowance was included automatically as an award ticket, but I could just as well have been travelling with hand luggage.
