Can I collect luggage

Hi all
I am flying with Emirates Rome - Dubai then Dub - Singapore arriving 3pm and then leaving the next day at 3.25pm .( with Emirates ) ..I have booked the flight myself via Qantas using QFF points all on the one itinerary ..Question is can I book the luggage from Rome through to Singapore and pick it up and then Check in again next day for flight to Brisbane ...?

Are you booked FCO-BNE as a one way, or FCO-SIN and SIN BNE as two one ways? Either way you should be able to ask the agent at FCO to just tag your bags to SIN.

Tom V, FCO- DXB- SIN- BNE as one way.. Cheers..( .Had to go through SIN to get J class all the way but that's cool .will have fun )

You just need to ask (and check the baggage tag!) the agent in Rome to 'short check' the bag to Singapore only, shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks guys, I had all the flights ready to book and wanted to check on that...Qantas site keeps crashing right before payment when I do a multi city itinerary so maybe won't be doing it after all ..!! Sorry needed to vent
