Can I ask for your help please Cancer

@Ansett, she was so gallant in her battle and achieved so much, one can hope that the trial she was on will help hundreds of other children going through end stage cancer.

I'll crack a bottle of French (Bordeaux) red for her tonight and toast her fight. Unfortunately, the insidious enemy won this time.

Thank you QF WP she certainly gave it her all, and we are very proud of her and her commitment to fighting and also supporting others, she will always remain with us.

They Have taken Chloe to a hospice in Oxford and they will remain there for the next couple of days so they can stay & spend time to say goodbye to her in private as a family.

I Had hoped to get an exemption to attend the funeral and support my sister niece and family but it seems the Government has other ideas.

The Australian Border Force (ABF) has considered your request and the Delegate has determined that your travel is not exempt from the travel restrictions. Your departing port has been notified of this outcome.

The ABF Delegate has stated that:

• In consideration of the facts demonstrated to me by the applicant I am not satisfied that exceptional circumstances exist to approve the applicant to leave Australian territory.
  
  While I acknowledge this is a difficult time for the applicant, under the current global pandemic international travel is restricted to exceptional circumstances only.
  
  In refusing the request, I have also considered the fact of the high infection rates in the UK and the short-term nature of the travel, both posing a significant risk to the Australian community; in transit and post arrival.

One has to wonder what exceptional circumstances are?

Disappointed but also understand the need to get control of this virus.

Please wear masks and stay in doors and follow restrictions for the sake of all of us.

That really is unfortunate for you Ansett.As a society we are losing our Humanity when people are not allowed to support their extended families.
And to think the authorities accept coming to make a film or a TV show exceptional circumstances.
I hope you come through this much stronger.And all the best for this next few weeks home in Melbourne.
