CA Upgrade?

Its a long story but we have 2 class upgrades on CA and must be used by June 07, so we booked CNS/HK/CNS (the latter thru Brisbane) in cattle class using FF points, is there any way we can seek and upgrade to BC using the voucher on the return flight?. Just remembered its CX.

I was not aware that CA (Air China) flew CNS-HKG???

But in general, FF award flights generally cannot be upgraded with points, credits, certificates, vouchers etc. You will need to ask the airline that issued the upgrades (I assume some sort of voucher).

Sorry thought CA was Cathay Pacific, just shows how much I know. I just don't want to get to check in at HK and then find out they wont upograde cause there full. I booked through Q FF, so its up to them, they do say on their site no upgrades with Cathay is available anyway so I guess it will be pot luck.

In general, you8 cannot upgrade an award ticket, only paid tickets. Check with CX (Cathay Pacific) regarding the eligibility of the upgrade you have.

The CX upgrade voucher has no terms or conditions on it, so I'm going to give it a try when we leave HK.

I suggest you make a call to Cathay Pacific first to determine the eligibility to use the voucher to upgrade Qantas FF award tickets.
