Hey Everyone,

In the last Month or so I went on a bit of a point eating rampage and used about 60,000 Velocity Points, and now the sight of the 4,000 left over is just depressing me. I'm aware they will start to build up again through work travels but I was wondering if anyone has had any luck buying Reward points through any VA partners and transferring them to Velocity?

I've seen the conversion rates on the Velocity site etc but as I've not done this before was just wondering if anyone had experience or tips on quick and easy ways to buy up more points at the best value.

I've gone from stressing over status credits to missing my beloved points...:confused:

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Buying partner points just to transfer and sit there so you can see them sitting there is probably poor value.

Probably better to sign up for one of the co-branded credit card offers. I think Amex are offering up to a 50,000 bonus and NAB/Virgin Money 40,000.

Yip the NAB premium offer for 40,000 for $150 annual fee would provide great value.
