Hi - I am new to this forum and this is my first post. Next month I am flying to SFO QANTAS J class from SYD return with my adult son. Two of my friends will be on the same flights but not in J class. I was wondering about buying passes on eBay for them so that we could all have a quiet drink and relax before the flights. Has anyone bought these passes and are there any traps that I should be aware of? Cheers

Welcome to AFF :D

Purchasing of said passes is against the T&C's of Qantas relevant to them.

On this forum we discourage such activity. Offering to gift them is fine.

Certainly, threads/posts soliciting to sell or purchase of same here will get blocked/deleted.

Forgetting that asking for lounge passes is against the T&C's here, if both you and your son are in J, wouldn't the 2 friends count as your guest allowance?

or just go to maccas. The food there is better.

Belated welcome to AFF.

Qantas has cracked down on passes being sold on places like Gumtree and Ebay.

Thanks a lot everyone, it looks like my issues should be solved by taking the friends in as guests
