If you're paying $7.99 at Harris Farm, you're paying too much. Are you sure it wasn't Village Grocer? HF charges $4.29 at Dee Why and $4.69 at Mona Vale. Woolies currently has a special at, I think, $4.29.

I don't believe Woolies sells Pepe Saya

this!! *thumbs-up*

thanks to AFF I was at woolies last week and compared Lurpak to our current 'organic' spreadable butter 'Harmonie'.

Lurpak $4.29, Harmonie $6.85.

Closer inspection of Harmonie reveals: made in Daneland, by the same company as Lurpak (Arla Foods), in the same factory as Lurpak, with an identical ingredient list... save for... wait for it... Harmonie is made with 'organic cream' instead of regular milk.

Now seriously... what would be the difference between organic and regular from Daneland right? Pristine environment, happy citizens, happy cows.

Thanks to AFF we have now made the switch to Lurpak... saving enough for a one-way trip MEL-SYD each year!

Norway? Are those cows wandering across the border? :p

I had some toasted Hot Cross Buns slathered in Lurpak for lunch. Just doing my bit to keep Danish Farmers and Australian Heart Surgeons in gainful employment.

Well for some strange reason VLML receive margarine instead of butter...and stale bread rolls instead of fresh. True story.

I think that there is a "study" that finds fault with everything. There needs to be a correction factor for those studies that takes into account pleasure.
Well last night on the news I saw a study that destroyed the fallacy that beer was bad for you - and this morning I saw a study that said skipping traditional breakfast may indeed be good for you - SO - tomorrow morning I'll be sitting up to half a doz VBs for brekkie - I'll be seriously taking pleasure into account!
