I've got a booking for hubby and I at 4 Points Geelong next week - was getting my paperwork together this morning and noticed that the confirmation included a $15 breakfast addition to the booking if I wanted it. Filled in the response form for just one breakfast as hubby is leaving at 5am and only I would be around at breakfast time. Sent it off and thought no more about it. Just received a phone call from 4 Points Geelong to say that because two of us were staying overnight I had to book two breakfasts at $15 each or one breakfast at $30 the normal rate! I couldn't believe the bureaucracy of the situation - apparently it was impossible to book just one $15 breakfast! I mentioned I was SPG Gold and could they do a manual entry - no matter they said - situation stands - I laughed and told them to forget it! Poor form 4 Points Geelong - don't offer me something then knock me back !

The breakfast there is definitely not worth $30.
Shame there aren't any other decent hotels in Geelong. It has a nice view from rooms at the front but other than that it's a very average property.

As stated previously not worth $30, walk left from the hotel door and you will find several places within the first 50 meters for brekky.
