I took my very first Qantas A380 flight in F yesterday. The seat was great, but I did notice one very small and very niche bug with the control panel next to the seat which houses the recline, massage and lighting functions etc.

I noticed that this control panel provided the option to switch the language, and I switched it to German. This changed the language to German on everything except the massage settings, which for some reason are all in Spanish if the language is set to German!

(There were also a couple of grammatical errors on the German version of the moving map, but I can let those slide 😝)

OK, I did warn you that it was a very niche bug! 😂

I wonder if anyone has ever actually noticed this before? I suspect it's probably been like this since Qantas first introduced its A380 almost two decades ago!

Jeeeeeeeeeez. The problem with things like this is that there was very clearly a fair bit of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on the product...

WHY THE HELL couldn't integration tests pick this up!?
